Music Ministry

Music Ministry offers many opportunities to those who choose to share their time and musical talents with the church. Our music ensembles prepare music to enhance the liturgy and provide musical worship experience. We encourage members of the congregation to join us in the worship. We welcome you to join us for rehearsals.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir provides music for the 9:00 am mass on Sunday mornings. Music ranges from classical to contemporary and also includes instruments. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in the loft.
The first rehearsal will be Wednesday, August 29th.

Project Praise

Project Praise is the praise band that plays during the 11:00am mass on Sunday mornings. Playing all contemporary Christian music, this group consists of guitars, bass, drums, piano, and singers. We ask students in grades 6th through college to consider this group. Project Praise rehearses on Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the loft. Project Praise also provides the music for Teen Pathway masses once a month on Sunday evenings. Project Praise is currently seeking a Bass Player.
The first Sunday we will play is Sunday, September 16th.

Junior Choir

The Junior Choir is for students in grades one through five. Children learn music and learn about the mass and their Catholic faith. The Junior Choir provides music for the Family Liturgy Masses. This group rehearses on Wednesday nights at 5:30 until 6:00.

Guest Musicians

St. Jude Music Ministry invites guest musicians to join the ensembles throughout the year. Christmas and Easter always feature guest musicians as well as ordinary Sundays. If you would like to join us for a Sunday please contact Nick at the e-mail address at the bottom of this page.
